How pricing works
CapacityLab is a capacity-testing service: you set the test parameters and success criteria, review the test plan and confirm it. The platform runs bounded load against a target you are authorized to test, keeps the measured evidence and records the result.
Your account has one balance in US dollars. Every test plan shows the exact dollar price of its test before you confirm it, and confirming deducts that price from the balance. A test is refused when the balance does not cover its price. Credits never expire, and there is no subscription, renewal or monthly charge.

Every new Account starts here, with $5 of welcome credit.

After a credit pack is bought or CapacityLab grants credit by hand.

Credits never expire. Sales are closed during the beta, so the pack cannot be bought yet.
Free and Paid
Every Account is either Free or Paid, and the level only sets how large a single Run may be. An Account becomes Paid when a credit pack is bought or CapacityLab grants it credit; welcome credit does not change the level. The limits for each level are listed above, and a target's own authorized limits still apply when they are lower.
During the beta
Sales are closed while CapacityLab is in closed beta: there is no checkout and nothing to buy yet. CapacityLab grants credit to beta Accounts by hand.
What every Run includes
- bounded load execution against a target you are authorized to test
- an immutable record of the versions of the test parameters and success criteria, the test plan and accepted price for each test
- collected execution evidence and a permanent Run record
- a result that states whether the test met its success criteria, did not meet them, or remains inconclusive
- the console, the MCP API for agents, and targets: public HTTPS origins you prove control of and Vercel Enterprise Previews
Important limitation
CapacityLab measures a bounded test against the selected target and preserves the available evidence. It does not guarantee uptime, future production behavior, revenue, incident prevention, or performance outside the tested conditions.
